It's been a year since the "Today" show fell to second place in the morning show ratings race, and it doesn't seem to be digging itself out of the hole any time soon.
We sat down with New York Times media reporter Brian Stelter, who wrote a book on the topic, and asked him how the former number-one morning show can get back on top and what the new wave of morning TV shows looks like .
